This is the beautiful home of artist and designer Amy Butler and her husband. Expansive glass walls bring the outdoors in and the views alone are enough to fall in love with this place. The mix of organic shapes and textiles, like the wicker rockers above, with mid century modern pieces, seal the deal for me.

above: In the living room hangs the popular Ikea Maskros pendant which the homeowner spray painted for added effect.

below: having designed a wallpaper line for graham & brown means Amy gets to change out the wall covering in her bedroom seasonally (show of hands – who wishes they could do this?)

toro vases | crate and barrel $25-35
alseda stool | ikea $30
recycled glass jugs | westelm $19-29
retro storage jars | royal design $19-37
lacework wallpaper | graham brown $85/roll

Amy’s home is spectacular! I’m very find of cane or wicker chairs, so love those rockers. And don’t the cats look happy in the 2nd photo?! xxx
I think I saw this when it came out and I still love it! It would be so nice to have a room that big and open and also those little IKEA seats but I’m cut off from buying any more seating. Probably for the rest of my life with the amount of chairs I have.
Sadly the milk tea is a Chinatown thing {like thai tea but I can make them leave the 12 pounds of sugar out and there is no food coloring}. In Boston that is only 3 square blocks so I picture those little suckers running all around at night from shop to shop
.
In Ohio huh? The natural light streaming into the place really makes it feel very modern
Stunning home! I could move in, in a heartbeat. xo
What a beautiful home! Love the mostly earthy colors and materials mixed with the occasional pop of color. Those retro storage jars are a fab find!
I love the aqua paint color! You’re in NJ! I’m in the Princeton area, south of you I think.
i am loving how open it feels.
I love that you always show how to achieve the look at the end. Also I love the mint green wall near the kitchen. Beautiful post!
