While many of us are freezing our butts off praying for warm weather and hoping that snow will not be a part of the near future, there are others who are currently enjoying amazingly tropical weather. Like those in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
And when your brother is an architect, I imagine you have it made in the shade…The home includes vertical gardens and an open kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of white and natural wood tones throughout, but they have certainly not shied away from the use of deeper hues.
I could see a lot of caipirinhas being sipped on that back deck…

Aah…I love this colour palette. And, that kitchen! Swoon….
My favorite part has to be that balcony off the kitchen. I can almost imagine sitting out there in bare feet with a cup of tea, feeling the breeze (not like the icy cold winds here!). And the mix of colors in the kitchen? Fab.
Wow, beautiful. I love everything about this house!
Beautiful! But my eyes got immediately caught by the Nespresso machine…hehe
Love those pretty window frames!
that kitchen with the brick and teal and wood accents, amazing. i also love the “mas amour por favor” print. and how could i not mention the verandas?! sigh . . .
I really love the colors in this house! I’m not sure why you think single digit temperatures are cold!
Jeanine don’t tease me, I’m dying over here!
Una casa llena de color y bella ,,,, me encanto

I am all about open kitchens! Love the bold colors of Brazil!
Love the strategically placed color pops among the neutral and natural space. Great post.
All the colors! Love it. Such a warm and inviting home.
Oh my gosh, I am dying over here! I can’t even remember what the sun looks like! This place is perfect. I love the exposed bricks in the kitchen and the abundance of natural light!
What a cool home. I love the red facade softened with all the greenery, and that pop of blue in the bench seat. x
What a great place! I wouldn’t mind sitting on that deck sipping a Caipirinha. Although the places is very modern the wooden floor really warms it up. Also love the exposed brick and the floor in the kitchen.
I am all about caipirinhas – pretty much anywhere and anytime. I wouldn’t say no to drinking them at this house
that kitchen is too fun! it looks like a bistro!

Im digging the open plan and unexpected blue/red colour combo here! Very vibrant and cheerful
I like all the bits of red the owners have very smartly placed throughout the house. You were right to look for this home under the very cold temps you’re experiencing on the East Coast. (Though, as I write this, it seems you all did get some snow and you, specifically, got the warmer temps you were needing/wanting. [smile])
The home is pretty, but the views outside are stunning! I LUV the first pic.
