As promised last week, a look at the green of the moment: Pantone’s Greenery
I have mentioned before, whenever a big color trend arises in fashion, I opt for small doses of the hue. Maybe a scarf or some nail polish will do the trick for me.
The same can be said for interior color trends. If you are not ready to commit via paint color on a wall or large pieces of furniture, there are plenty of other ways/items to bring in the colors with. Perhaps Pantone just named Greenery as it’s color of the year a few weeks ago. But, there are already many options out there for the home.
The color green
Green is seen as a calming and healing color in color psychology. Also, in feng-shui practices, green is representative of prosperity, vitality and of course, nature.
Accessorizing your home with Pantone’s Greenery
1 set of nesting bowls / 2 plywood lounge chair / 3 soy wax wine bottle candle / 4 cactus print / 5 striped pillow /6 greek key jacquard throw / 7 stemless wine glass set / 8 clock / 9 end table / 10 towels / 11 and probably the best way to bring in this color….through actual greenery!
